I am a philosopher by training, specializing in applied ethics. I have published on a variety of topics in that area, including research ethics, food ethics, human enhancement, and in vitro fertilization. Other interests include clinical ethics, social and political philosophy, politics, and journalism ethics. I previously blogged at Oxford's Practical Ethics in the News, and run the CENTRESBlog at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics, National University of Singapore.
