Andres Franzetti is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Risk Cooperative, an innovative strategy and risk advisory firm based in Washington D.C. He is also a fellow at the American Security Project, and recognized thought leader in the risk a domain, regularly featured in national publications. In his prior role, he served as part of the executive team of a leading risk management firm and insurance brokerage serving customers in more than 170 countries. In this role, he formulated and led the strategy and execution of the firm’s strategic partnership initiatives across multiple industries, as well as its program innovations. As a dual-licensed insurance broker and Certified Risk Manager, he specializes in helping organizations address complex risks to increase their overall resiliency. He works extensively with global organizations, including the United Nations, OPIC and leading Fortune 500 firms, to carry out risk assessments, consulting engagements, designing and placements of risk transfer solutions, as well as developing enterprise risk management and mitigation strategies. Mr. Franzetti has spent nearly two decades working in the financial services and risk advisory arena. Mr. Franzetti is fluent in Spanish, conversant in Italian and holds a BS from the University of Colorado at Boulder in journalism, advertising and marketing.
