Chris Jenkins is an educator and administrator with an interest in the theory and practice of human rights, especially as they relate to equal access to music performance and education. He earned a master's degree in human rights and conflict resolution from SIPA at Columbia, and was deputy director and professor of viola and violin at the Barenboim-Said Foundation in Ramallah, West Bank, from 2013-14. He currently serves as Assistant Dean for Academic Support at Oberlin College.
