Golzar Salih is a sociologist and George Mason University alumna with keen focus on gender-based violence, women’s rights and roles in the Middle East. Born and raised in Sulaimaniya, in Kurdistan Region of Iraq she is also tri-lingual in English, Arabic, and Kurdish. She is currently based in the DC metro area in the United States. She also co-authored the "Kurdish Language Sorani Dialect."
