Hunter Streling is the Joseph S. Nye, Jr. Intern for the Middle East Security program at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS). Hunter is pursuing his MA in International Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. His interests include U.S. foreign policy and security issues in the Levant. Hunter has studied at the Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan, focusing on Modern Standard and Levantine Arabic. He graduated cum laude from Grand Valley State University with his BA in International Relations in 2019.
