Jason Forrester has been working in the Washington policy community since the late 1990s. He has been a senior staffer in the U.S. Senate, a Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Executive Branch, and has worked at the Brookings Institution, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, among other leading organizations. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and is currently an independent consultant.
