Jila Matos is a Master's candidate at Seton Hall University, specializing in International Law and Human Rights and Global Negotiations and Conflict Management. Henceforth, feminist approaches across foreign policy, peace and security, humanitarian aid, and development assistance are the focus of her studies as there are economic disparities amongst genders. Moreover, during her graduate experience Jila has analyzed the International Committee of the Red Cross legal database regarding protecting civilians against terrorist acts under International Humanitarian Law and analyzing the Global Terrorism Database for common variables of countries that are targets of terrorist attacks. Jila is passionate about ensuring individuals have the freedom to access their rights against inequality and how global events affect foreign policy.
