Peter Svoboda is a Political Risk Consultant, currently working with the Eurasia Group, focusing on Central and Eastern Europe. He frequently writes about issues in the Czech Republic and has co-authored a number of publications. His parents immigrated to New York from the Czech Republic. He still has family there, which raised his awareness to the political struggles of the people in Europe. This is something he feels people around the world can empathize and identify with clearly.
