Pınar Akpınar is an Assistant Professor of International Affairs in the Department of International Affairs and the Gulf Studies Program at the College of Arts and Sciences, Qatar University. She earned her PhD from Keele University's School of Politics, International Relations, and Philosophy (SPIRE). Beyond her academic pursuits, Akpınar has provided advisory services to the governments of Turkey and Qatar on matters related to mediation, conflict resolution, and regional politics.
