Rob Wagner is a retired writer and published author based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He was the Saudi Arabia correspondent for the London-based Arab Weekly newspaper and Islamic tourism writer for Thomson Reuters and Lonely Planet. He also wrote for the International Business Times and Gulf News. He was managing editor of the Arab News and also served in the same capacity at the Saudi Gazette.
