After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, Samira Sariolghalam moved to Portland, Oregon and started working at Catholic Charities of Oregon refugee resettlement. Working with the refugee families and children inspired her to continue her education to expand working with the population on an international level. Samira recently moved to Washington, DC to pursue her Master’s in international development at George Washington University, specializing in providing humanitarian assistance to refugee and immigrant populations.
