Sara Fakik is a Social Media Associate at the Journal of Diplomacy and International Relations. Sara is a first-year M.A. candidate specializing in Foreign Policy Analysis and International Economics and Development. She is a personal assistant to Ambassador Khaled Alyemany, former Foreign Minister of Yemen and Ambassador of Yemen to the UN. She previously worked as an adult education intern at the International Rescue Committee. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University, where she majored in Diplomacy and International Relations and minored in Russian.
