Tobias Dietrich is a security and conflict analyst specializing in Iraqi militias and regional power dynamics. He holds a Master’s degree in political science from the University of Vienna, where his thesis examined the multidimensional legitimacy of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces. He serves in a security and intelligence role at FOREUS and has conducted conflict research on Iraq and Syria with the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research (HIIK).
