Waiki Law is a journalist specializing in immigration, transnational crime, and socio-economic issues. She also serves as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2021 during the U.S. withdrawal. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Affairs at the George Washington University. Her regional interests include U.S. security polices in Central and Southeast Asia, and U.S. relations with China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
