Ali Sarikaya is chief advisor to Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu. Over the past 12 years he has served as counselor, chief advisor and chief counselor to the prime minister, as well as an advisor to the chairman of the Justice and Development Party. Sarikaya has an undergraduate degree in history from Boğaziçi University and a graduate degree in international political economy from Manchester University in the UK. He speaks English, German and Arabic.
