As the founder of Huertos Urbanos de Panama and Lead Researcher for Conservatorio, S.A., Betty Chemier has experience in leading research and facilitating participatory processes. During the fellowship, Betty aims to learn how to create an appealing portfolio, quantify the results of projects, and develop strategic partnerships in both the public and private sectors. Upon returning to Panama, Betty plans to lead a series of urban interventions in Panama City by first developing a coherent fundraising proposal and then using it as a platform to showcase additional international projects.
