Dr. Holger Janusch is an associate professor in the North American Studies Program at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms University in Bonn, Germany. Prior to this, he worked as a guest professor at the Andrássy University in Budapest, Hungary. Previously, he was an assistant professor at the Friedrich Alexander University in Nuremberg, Germany and a visiting scholar at the Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC. He had numerous research stays at universities and ministries in countries such as the United States, Colombia, South Africa, and Vietnam. His research focus is on power in IR theory, polarization in U.S. society and politics, and U.S. foreign and trade policy.
