Imaan Mashkoor is a graduate student in the International Affairs program at George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Georgia State University. Her work focuses on conflict resolution in the MENA region, specifically the role of Islam in peacebuilding. She is currently pursuing a thesis called 'Cultural and Religious Dimensions of Peacebuilding: Islam in Post - 2003 Iraq vs. Western Approaches'.
