Jo Coghlan is a lecturer in Politics and International Relations, in the School of Arts Social Sciences at the Gold Coast campus. Her PhD examined media representations of former Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri during 1998 and 1999. She has taught in the fields of Australian and Indonesian politics, International Relations, Human Rights, Multiculturalism and Cultural Studies at the University of Wollongong and the University of New South Wales.
