Maya Walborsky graduated from Brandeis University in 2022 with a double major in Economics and Islamic Studies, and a minor in Arabic. During her senior year, she wrote a thesis on Chinese motivations for the Belt and Road Initiative in MENA. She currently works in the field of international development in Washington, D.C.
