Nicolai Due-Gundersen is a PhD candidate at Kingston University, London after four years living in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. His thesis focuses on non-democratic political legitimacy and the Arab Spring. He is the author of 'The Privatization of Warfare' and a political commentator on Al Jazeera, Radio Sputnik and Voice of Islam and has lectured at Kingston University, the University of Jordan, the Swiss Embassy of Jordan and the British Red Cross.
