Peter Brampton Koelle earned his B.A. from Swarthmore College, his J.D. from the James Beasley School of Law of Temple University, and his M.A. and Ph.D from the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Koelle has held teaching positions at Widener University, the University of Pennsylvania, Universite de Bordeaux III and the Spanish Department of Bryn Mawr College, where he taught for seventeen years.
