Serena Shabout is currently pursuing an M.A. in Security Policy Studies at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. Her academic and professional interests focus on national security in the technical environment and geopolitics in the Middle East. She holds a B.A. in International Studies with a concentration on the Middle East and Arabic studies from Texas A&M University.
