Dr. Wang Wen is the Dean and Professor at the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies (RDCY) at Renmin University of China and Executive Director of the China-US Research Center for People-to-People Exchange under China’s Ministry of Education. A former journalist and chief op-ed editor at Global Times, he won the prestigious ‘News Award’ before founding RDCY in 2013. He serves as a visiting professor at more than 10 universities, including Lomonosov Moscow State University, and is a member of the Valdai Discussion Club. Dr. Wang has conducted research in over 100 countries, including Antarctica, and advises key Chinese ministries. He has authored or edited over 50 books and published more than 1,000 articles in outlets such as People's Daily and The New York Times.
