Wonman Hong was born in Seoul, Korea. He moved to U.S. in 2007 and attended high school in Minnesota, and undergraduate at The George Washington University. After receiving his Bachelor's degree, Wonman moved to Ghana, and started working at World Vision-KOICA Literacy Boost Project in Fanteakwa, Ghana, as a World Friends NGO Volunteer Corps for one year. He then came back to World Vision Korea and worked as short-term worker in Public and Private Partnership Team for eleven months. He would like to pursue a career in civil society development, advocacy, global civic education for creating awareness in international development. He recently came back to George Washington University to pursue his Master's in International Development, specializing in civil society development and international education.
