Ahmad Sayer Daudzai is an advisor at Gulf State Analytics, a Washington, DC-based geopolitical risk consultancy. Daudzai is an Afghan expert in geoeconomics, geopolitics, and economic diplomacy. He founded Velocity Consulting, providing financial and investment advisory services in Afghanistan. As an economic diplomat since 2013, he served as Vice Consul in Istanbul and pursued a Master’s in Global Affairs. He advised the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs in 2017 and was the Economic Counselor at the Afghan Embassy in UAE in 2019. Daudzai held the position of Charge d’Affaires and Deputy Ambassador at the Afghan Embassy in UAE until 2021 and completed a second term as Acting Ambassador until November 2023.
