William “Bill” Eger holds a Ph.D. in International Studies with a concentration in U.S. Foreign Policy from Old Dominion University and a Master's Degree in Military History from Norwich University. He has taught and lectured at Chowan University, Old Dominion University, and Naval Postgraduate School. He is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and a former U.S. Marine. Bill also worked for The Kroger Company in senior management for close to 20 years. He has contributed to several books, including a chronicle of Byzantine History.
