Shawn Montgomery, originally from Des Moines, Iowa, is a freelance writer residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. Previously, he lived and worked abroad for nearly 20 years as a science teacher; first, he served in Peace Corps — Ghana, and then, at international schools in Mexico and Kenya.
