Tim Stafford's interdisciplinary research focus is on comic books and comic book film adaptations. He is researching the ways in which superhero comic book films are shaped by economic and artistic factors and the implications these have for the changes made to the source material. Tim is also a Visiting Lecturer in Literature in the School of Humanities. His specialist areas are masculinities, drama, comic books and film and he has published work on comic books and their uses in education.
