Aliya Yekhlassova is the Director of the Department of International Law and Cooperation at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She graduated with a Master of Law from The University of Sheffield, UK. Since 2004 she fulfilled diverse professional positions in Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Justice, among them Head of the Office for the Examination of Sublegislative Acts on Defense, Law Enforcement, and Environmental Protection.
