Daniel Han Tae Choi is a rising junior at Pomona College majoring in Economics and an Army ROTC cadet with the Golden Lions Battalion. Prior to joining Pacific Forum, he worked as a legislative intern in Senator Chuck Schumer’s office, where he conducted constituent correspondence and drafted hearing memos on national security and defense budget issues for senior staff. His research at Pacific Forum focuses on U.S.-South Korea alliance dynamics and South Korea’s evolving defense burden-sharing obligations. His broader interests include Indo-Pacific security and great power competition.
